Educational Qualification	Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from a recognized University. Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

Candidates who have passed senior secondary or any equivalent exam with at least 50% and have passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Candidates who have cleared senior secondary or any equivalent course with at least 50% marks and have passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education.

Candidates who have passed graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

Candidates who have passed graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education.
Candidates who have passed graduation with at least 50% and passed or appearing in the 1st year of B.Ed.
Candidates who have cleared Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.EI.Ed.
Candidates who have passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year integrated course B.A. B. ED, B.Sc. B.Ed. or any equivalent course.
Candidates who have passed graduation with at least 50% and passed or appearing in the 1st year B. Ed.

Candidates who want to become class I to VIII teacher can appear for both papers. Here is the distribution of questions and marks for Paper I and II.
