TRB PG Assistant Eligibility Details
Age Minimum : 21 years &Maximum: 40 Years
Educational Qualification Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from a recognized University.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

PG - TRB Assistant Exam Pattern

CBT/Written Test
  • The Written Test will carry 150 marks.
  • There will be a total of 150 Multiple Choice type questions in the paper.
  • Each question is of 1 mark.
  • Candidates will have 3 hours to complete the Written Test.

TET – Teachers Eligibility Test

TET Eligibility for Paper-I

  • Candidates who have passed senior secondary or any equivalent exam with at least 50% and have passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

  • Candidates who have cleared senior secondary or any equivalent course with at least 50% marks and have passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education.

  • Candidates who have passed graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of the two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

PG - TRB Assistant Exam Pattern

  • Candidates who have passed graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year diploma in Elementary Education.
  • Candidates who have passed graduation with at least 50% and passed or appearing in the 1st year of B.Ed.
  • Candidates who have cleared Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of B.EI.Ed.
  • Candidates who have passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year integrated course B.A. B. ED, B.Sc. B.Ed. or any equivalent course.
  • Candidates who have passed graduation with at least 50% and passed or appearing in the 1st year B. Ed.
TET exam comprises of two papers:
  • • Paper-I for Primary level classes (I to V)
  • • Paper-II for Upper Primary level classes (VI to VIII)

Candidates who want to become class I to VIII teacher can appear for both papers. Here is the distribution of questions and marks for Paper I and II.
